Once you're through the gate, Hidden Hills is all private property. The streets themselves are private roads maintained by the Community Association, with no sidewalks and nowhere to park at the curb, so the whole move works inside your own driveway. On the two-acre lots along Long Valley Road and Hidden Valley Road, the houses sit well back from the road down long private drives, and the truck stages on the driveway rather than the lane. Many estates have their own secondary entry gate beyond the city's perimeter gates, so the crew often clears a second time on the property before staging. The Association sets the rules on private-road use, tradesperson hours, and keeping the bridle trails and horse crossings clear, so we confirm those with you and the HHCA before the day. Because there's no commercial corridor inside the gates, the occasional office work we do here is a home office or a small studio inside a residence, the same desks, files, and office equipment we'd handle anywhere, worked at our hourly rate with a two-mover crew. If a job needs a certificate of insurance, a standard general-liability COI is included for commercial work, and custom additional-insured wording is quoted separately. Hillside estate access on Ashley Ridge and Lasher Road

The hillside addresses are their own challenge. Ashley Ridge Road and the secluded lots off Lasher Road run to custom modern estates on multi-acre parcels with steep grades and long sloped driveways behind private gates. On that kind of approach a 26-foot truck often can't turn around or hold the grade, so we send our 18-foot box truck, the smallest in our fleet, when the big one won't fit the drive. We don't run a shuttle service, and we don't promise to drive any particular grade, so we ask you to walk the access yourself before move day and tell us what the crew is dealing with: how long and steep the driveway runs, whether a full-size van can turn around at the top, and how far the carry is from the door to where the truck can sit. Walking it ahead of time is what keeps the day on track on these properties. The landscaping is usually extensive and the turnaround room tight, so positioning the van takes care after gate clearance. Older ranch-style estates and modern rebuilds

In the older homes, a wide sofa or sectional sometimes takes a careful angle, and other times we pull a door off the hinges or break down a bed frame to clear a narrow passage. A mattress doesn't come apart, so we carry it flat and ease a box spring through on the diagonal. These are high-value households, so we wrap furniture in moving blankets and bubble wrap, lay floor runners across the floors, and pad the built-ins and staircases as we go. If there's a baby grand piano, antiques, fine art, or a home gym in the house, tell us up front so we plan the carry and the equipment for it.
