That includes walk-ups with no elevator, high-rises with a booked freight elevator, and hillside homes up narrow streets, where we bring our 18-foot truck instead of the standard 26-foot one. Crew size depends on the home: most houses need three movers or more.
You book the elevator and the loading area with building management, and ask whether they need a certificate of insurance. We plan our arrival around the window they give you. Before move day, tell us the floor, the unit and how far the truck can park from the entrance, so we send the right crew.
We move offices, storefronts and small businesses: desks, chairs, shelving, filing cabinets, office equipment and boxed files. Desks and shelving that won’t fit through a door come apart and go back together at the new space. Every commercial move includes a standard general-liability certificate of insurance (COI). Custom additional-insured wording is quoted separately.
Office buildings usually set the move hours and the loading dock. Building management reserves the freight elevator and dock for you, and we plan our arrival around that window. Crew size is set by your inventory, the floor and the elevator access, and it is confirmed on your written quote.
The crew packs dishes, glassware, kitchenware, books, clothes, decor and the rest of the household into boxes, and labels each box for the room it goes to. Fragile pieces are wrapped one by one. Packing can cover the whole home or part of it, like the kitchen and the fragile items.
Yes. The crew opens the boxes and unpacks them into the rooms you choose. Unpacking runs on the same hourly clock as packing and the move itself.
Moving blankets, dollies and wardrobe cartons come with every move at no extra charge. Disposable packing materials are billed separately: boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape and stretch wrap. They are listed on your quote.
We move upright and baby grand pianos. Tell us the type of piano, the floor, and how many steps are on the way at both ends. That sets the crew size and the equipment. Pianos are billed as specialty items, so the price is on your quote before move day.
Yes. Gun safes and home gym equipment are specialty items. Send us the weight and dimensions if you have them, plus the floor and any stairs at both ends. Large gym machines may need to come apart before the carry. Each piece is wrapped in moving blankets, and floor runners go down along the carry path.
Antique furniture goes in moving blankets and is strapped in the truck so it doesn’t shift. Framed art and fragile antiques get bubble wrap under the blankets, which is billed as packing material. Fine art and antiques are specialty items, so mention them when you ask for a quote.
Yes. Bed frames, tables, desks and sectionals that won’t fit through a doorway or a stair turn come apart before the carry and go back together at the new place. Mattresses stay in one piece; a box spring goes through on edge or on the diagonal.
Our hourly rate starts from $99/hr for a two-mover crew with regular cargo insurance. Packing and unpacking run on the same hourly clock. The truck fee, disposable packing materials and specialty items are billed separately. Double drive time applies on some moves and is advised on the moving quote. No fuel surcharge, no hidden fees.
