I had a good experience of moving with MAX from Adept Moving Company LA. First of all, they came on time and told me approximately how long it would take, after that I realized that guys didn't want to waste my time due to their own profit. Max was responsible for all process, he said that he was a foreman (I had never heard this term before). According to all Max's instructions, they were able to pack (by using wrap) all my stuff including some furniture in 4 hours. I was really surprised. All workers can figure out the issues related to moving procedure. For instance, I have a King size bed, before it took 3 hours for representatives from furniture saloon to get my bed into bedroom and construct it. But Max with his guys were able to solve a problem in 1 hour (he decided to separate only main parts of the bed). I really admire them. Now, I understand why Adept's rating is so high. Finally, when I unpacked all boxes and wrapped furniture - everything had a previous condition without any scratches and damage. Thank you so much. It was awesome. I'm going to advise you for all my relatives and friends.
I just moved my one bedroom apartment from West Hollywood down to El Segundo. I'd never used a moving company before and was thrilled with how fast and easy this was. I scheduled a move for Saturday afternoon and asked them to please keep me in mind if a morning appointment opened up. I got a phone call the day before to confirm and they were able to move up my appointment -- and they showed up ten minutes early! My movers were Vitya and Max and they were super speedy! While one went over all of the charges and costs with me, the other immediately started getting stuff down into the truck. I like how thorough they were explaining every possible charge that could incur (both over the phone and in person). When the final bill came it was exactly what I had planned for, and the option to pay in cash makes their already low rates even lower. They wrapped all my furniture really carefully -- I have white fabric couches and all of my tables/chairs/dressers are white, and they were ALL delivered without a single scuff on them. They also took care to ask me about how I wanted certain things carried or boxed up. When I arrived at the new apartment, they were great about making sure everything was put in the place I wanted. Since my new apartment has wood floors (as opposed to the old one which had carpet), they made sure to put pads on the legs of all my furniture so that no damage was done to the floors. They were also extremely careful maneuvering the furniture inside and outside the apartment, taking care not to bump any walls. I really appreciated how thorough they were both in explaining the pricing and in making sure everything was packed and unpacked the way that I wanted it to be. Of course, the bottom line is that you really just can't beat the price here -- especially if you pay in cash! Would definitely recommend to anyone moving on a budget, a way better deal than all of the other moving companies.
This has been the best moving experience ever. Ilia and Vadim were early and unbelievably fast. Everything got to my new place in great condition and the guys couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I can't recommend this moving company enough, seriously a solid experience.
George and Damon were great workers they even worked in the smoke from the fires and loaded loaded up the truck fast and unloaded even faster driving me from Wast Hollywood to Palmdale. Highly recommended and way better than UHaul.
I used Adept moving on July 15 and rate them 5 stars. 3 movers arrived promptly to start the move and even wrapped my kitchen utensils. I highly recommend this company and the 3 movers: Ilia, Valentin and Vitalik. You can't believe how they squeezed every last piece of furniture into one storage space.
Ilia, Kirill and Dima help me move from West Hollywood to Redondo Beach. These guys were amazing and took extream care of the furniture. They were on time and finished the move well ahead of the time.
Called around to a lot of places and got a lot of quotes and this was the best priced moving company around! They showed up early and were super fast and efficient! The two movers I got were these super great Russian men named Vlad and Slava and they were so friendly and making jokes and working so quickly and got me in and out in less than 5 hours from start to finish. This was a very stressful move for me and these guys made it so easy and pleasant and at a seriously good price!! I'm glad i listened to Yelp and trusted this company because they did not let me down!!
Just got done with a local move in Hermosa Beach. Adept did a fantastic job quickly mo Inc my entire room in less than three hours. My movers, Anatoly and Zhenya were professional and a pleasure. I absolutely recommend them for your next move.
I've lived a transient lifestyle and have moved maybe 15 times in the last 10 years, so I am very familiar with the moving process and I can tell you it's HELL. You strain your body lugging boxes up and down stairs, you lose your weekend, and you become *that* friend who asks people to help you. On top of that, with the cost of renting a truck, packing supplies, and boxes, it's expensive! I was preparing to do the whole process all over again this past weekend when I moved from San Bernardino to Los Angeles but stopped when I saw the cost of renting the truck alone was going to be around $300 (not including gas). I figured if I was going to spend $300+ on just a truck, I might as well see how much movers with their own truck would cost. I contacted Adept to get an estimate and was quoted around $400-$600 depending on the amount of stuff, packing material needed, time, etc. In the end, it took 6 and a half hours (2-3 hours of that was because of the drive and traffic) and cost $520 at the cash price. This was the easiest move I've ever been a part of and it was all because of our two movers - Ilia and Kirill. They were extremely professional, took such great care of all of our stuff, and they didn't even lose composure when our couch didn't fit through the door. They just took some measurements and then easily moved it in through a back window. I don't plan on moving any time soon but if I do, I will definitely use Adept again and will request Ilia and Kirill.
