I have moved about 5 times in the past year, and have had experience with many moving companies. This was a local move within LA,so I called about 5 different companies for price comparison. Many of the companies in LA have costs to consider such as hourly rate and hourly minimum (usually 3-4 hours), sometimes truck rental, double drive time (which seems to be standard no matter what company), and some costs for packing supplies as needed. I had a great experience with Adept, getting a quick response from Daniel at the office. First we communicated through yelp messaging, then he sent me an email to confirm. When he wanted to clarify something I misunderstood in my email response, he called me directly to clarify. I received personalized text messages to confirm the day beforehand, and it was a smooth booking process. The day before my move, they also googled my home to plan out parking, which seemed pretty organized to me. On the day of the move, Ilia, Sasha/Alex, and Slavik were fantastic. They arrived early (!) but were happy to wait since I was just getting back from errands. I was moving from an apartment complex and offered to have them move their truck closer to my place, but they were considerate of other cars and people that needed to get around the truck. So they parked a little ways off and carried boxes and furniture farther distances without complaint and still very quickly. Once they started the move, they focused on the job and it was coordinated and efficient.They kept our move as close to the minimum time as possible, and did all of this very professionally. They work very hard and are serious about the job, but they are also friendly. All of the staff cared about doing a good job and it was a positive experience for me. I am glad we used Adept to move and I'd recommend them to others.
Andrey, Vadim and Alex helped us moved a 2 bedroom apartment and their service was absolutely amazing! They handled our items with delicate hands and carefully packed our stuff. The items arrived in the new home with NO damage and the guys helped us with everything we asked them to do. The move was swift, they were on time and the price is very reasonable. Andrey and Dima were fantastic!! This is by far the smoothest moving experience I have ever had, and I have moved between 6 cities during all of my training as a physician. Both gentlemen were courteous, professional, efficient and attentive to detail. They arrived on time, were very careful in handling all of my belongings, transported everything carefully, and worked quickly and diligently. I am grateful to both of them for making moving day easy, pleasant and stress free! I recommend Andrey and Dima to anyone looking to move. Other positive aspects of using this moving company included very honest, upfront pricing, both during my initial phone call and prior to the move itself. Pricing was reviewed immediately prior to the move by Andrey and Dima, there were no changes or adjustments from the initial estimate, and the final cost was exactly what I expected. Having moved many times in the past, I can say this is actually a rare case. During my move, both gentleman were very understanding about my schizophrenic cat, who split her time between hiding under the bed and having a mental breakdown. They were mindful of her presence, and I was not worried about her escaping at any point. I really appreciate their ability to accommodate for Meowzers, who despite her mental issues, is rather important to me. In addition to carrying all of my furniture upstairs [3rd floor], Andrey and Dima were kind enough to move my furniture around when I was deciding where to situate all the pieces. They actually moved the piano multiple times when I couldn't figure out where to place it. These guys are truly amazing. I cannot reiterate enough how excellent this moving experience was. The last time we moved we had a very bad experience (with a moving company that is no longer in business). So before this move we were very cautious. We chose Adept Moving based mostly on Yelp's reviews. To begin with, the foremen are very knowledgeable and polite. We agreed on everything over the phone. The movers were punctual and showed up early. We had a big house and the movers were very careful and loaded everything on the truck without a problem. They stayed to unload over at the new house until 1A.M! Yes, they basically didn't leave until everything was off the truck and they were still careful, professional and polite even though it was so late and everybody was tired. We had some more things to move out the next day, and the experience was the same - excellent. I highly recommend Adept Moving Company.

AWESOME! Worth every dollar. They got here right on time as promised and were efficient and friendly; exactly what you want in a moving company.
